    S6 Front Driver’s Seat

Has anybody had there original leather seat stuffed with new foam?

I do not want a seat re-trim, as it’s only the drivers seat that looks tired but the leather always comes up superb, I am sure a good stuffing will sort it out. (Please forgive the term!)

Or is there a very good car trimmer in Kent that knows what he is doing?

Or do you think the foam is available from Audi? And it’s a DIY job?

(I have another question to do with car carpets as well as a separate thread.)

    Many thanks,

    Andy H.

Andy, The foam base should be available from Audi and it can be done by DIY. Not difficult just a little time consuming if anything.

I did the foam on my Driver's seat a few years ago. It's not too bad a job, part came from VAG Parts for approx. £50.

If the foam has just collapsed and is not damaged you can use steam to give it back it's original shape!
